Armytage Way

A 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom single-storey dwelling, located in Hillary’s, Western Australia. This project pivoted on two central goals: maximising the north-facing backyard to enhance natural sunlight, and ensuring a clever use of space where every room holds purpose, negating any wasted areas.

Featuring high line windows on the northern elevation for abundant light, and 9 metres of sliding glass doors to seamlessly merge indoor living with the outdoor alfresco. The heart of the home, a centrally located kitchen and living area, separates the master bedroom, distinctly separate from the other bedrooms.

Navigating budgetary constraints while achieving a high-quality finish required strategic design decisions and a meticulous selection of finishes. To address project duration challenges, Zera opted for a timber frame construction methodology.
